Light paintings by Janne Parviainen from Finland

I am going to be away this weekend so don't have anything that interesting to post yet, been sketching a lot but will post some if I feel they are any good!

However I been slowly catching up with my national geographic and came across Janne Parviainen's work where she uses long exposure on the camera and LED lights to create her lighting paintings. So much fun! All the preparations and anticipating the final results must have been very satisfying! Look forward to try making some myself~

So here is the one image I found in my April issue~ so cool..

I went on to google and found some more really crazy ones...not sure if some are suitable for my blog's theme but they are so beautiful I can't stop looking at them. I know skeletons are deemed as scary, creepy and dark but we all have a one! I like how she uses this type of 'shadow' of a light to portray spirits and ghosts. Maybe not everyone believes in spirits and ghosts but I see it as our cloud of energy, like an aura? Very beautiful!
